From regional airstrips to global gateways, the Airports Authority of India has quietly shaped India’s aviation journey over the years. At Wings India 2026, held at Begumpet Airport, the pavilion was designed to reflect this journey through a blend of infrastructure, connectivity, innovation, and culture.
As the event management agency, we designed and fabricated a space that allowed visitors to experience aviation beyond static displays. Two large immersive screens instantly drew attention, showcasing newly developed airports through visuals that blended modern infrastructure with cultural aesthetics.
The interactive zones became the core of the pavilion experience. Visitors explored real-time connectivity maps of AAI airports, immersive airport walkthroughs, and the UDAAN section highlighting connectivity across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Kala Sankalan showcased Indian art and culture integrated within airport spaces, adding a unique cultural layer to the experience.
To make the pavilion more engaging, aviation quizzes and a digital selfie experience allowed visitors to explore different professions within aviation. The ATC zone offered a simplified look into air traffic operations and airport management systems.
A special highlight was the “150 Years of Vande Mataram” installation, celebrating the legacy of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and adding a meaningful cultural touch to the space. Alongside it, a physical photo opportunity created a memorable and interactive moment for visitors.
The result was a pavilion that felt immersive and interactive and positioned AAI as an industry leader.
