Vortex has been associated with the INMA South Asia News Media Festival for several years, consistently creating experiences that bring together leading voices from the global news media industry. The July 2025 edition in Mumbai was designed as an immersive and engaging journey that extended far beyond a conventional conference format.
The experience began with a curated 2-day study tour across leading media organizations in Mumbai, where delegates gained firsthand exposure to newsroom operations, digital transformation strategies, audience engagement practices, and evolving media technologies. These visits encouraged meaningful industry interaction and offered global participants a closer understanding of India’s rapidly growing media ecosystem.
This was followed by a 2-day conference featuring insightful discussions, keynote sessions, and collaborative exchanges between publishers, editors, strategists, and media leaders from across the world. The conference stage was designed with a clean and sleek visual experience, complemented by dynamic LED integration and an engaging setup that enhanced speaker visibility, audience interaction, and the overall experience of the sessions.
The sessions were made interactive with strategic audience engagement practices, audio transcription, and open networking.
